Trenchmen Academy was created in 2014 to provide Middle School & High School linemen and linebackers with technique and position specific training year-round. The Trenchmen academy method is devised of three focus areas.
Mental
Mental toughness extends beyond playing through an injury and we recognize this. The battle in the trenches is won in preparation and we prepare our trenchmen by;
- Studying film
- Accountability
- Character Development
Physical
- To dominate you must control the point of attack with violent hands and sound technique, we develop our trenchmen by focusing on
- Position specific drills
- Technique development
- Speed, power, agility, reaction and quickness training
Service
To be a leader, one must first learn to serve. We teach our trenchmen the importance of service by;
- Volunteering our time locally in the community
- Providing an example to the youth demonstrating hard work and commitment
- Respecting positions of authority

MISSION
Trenchmen Academy is a sports performance and production improvement organization that aims to promote an immediate impact on developing defensive linemen, linebackers and offensive linemen while emphasizing a positive learning environment and instilling the core values of discipline, teamwork, accountability, hard work and integrity.
Trenchmen Graduates
Tyler Davis
4 years within the Trenchmen Academy helped Tyler Davis to University of Clemson on full athletic scholarship. He started for the Defending National Champion Clemson Tigers as a True Freshmen at Defensive Tackle. He even registered a sack in the National Championship game
Lyston Barber
UCF
1. Played at Ocoee High School for Ben Bullock
2. Recorded 44 tackles-for-loss and 96 total tackles
3. Also had 12 sacks, three forced fumbles and two interceptions
4. Ranked no. 33 in Orlando Sentinel Central Florida Super60
Marcus Tillman
Played four games for University of Texas as a Freshmen before having to medical redshirt. All-USA Florida second team … ranked No. 77 in Florida and No. 28 at outside linebacker by Rivals … ranked No. 89 in Florida and No. 55 at outside linebacker by 247Sports
